The M4 bunker is a military fortification located in Jersey, one of the Channel Islands. Jersey, a British Crown Dependency, has a long history of military installations due to its strategic position in the English Channel. During World War II, the island was occupied by German forces and heavily fortified as part of the Atlantic Wall defenses. Many bunkers and coastal fortifications were constructed during this period, some of which remain as historical sites today.
