Ottoman Empire fort built by Şahab Pasha between 1884 and 1896, upon the order of Sultan Abdulhamid II, to guard against the direction of Georgian Bosphorus. The stone workmanship is of magnificent beauty. Also named as Şahabbaşa Bastion
