A military bunker located near Movik, Norway, situated in a commanding position above the Skagerrak Straits between Norway and Denmark. This historic fortification was originally constructed during World War II by German forces and once housed the second largest cannon in the world - a Krupp 380mm artillery piece with a range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles) and weighing 337 tonnes. The site represents Norway's complex military heritage from both the WWII occupation period and the subsequent Cold War era, when Norway's proximity to the USSR led to the construction of many additional military bunkers and secret bases.
