Fort construit par Christophe Colomb et ses hommes sur la côte nord de l'île d'Hispaniola à Noël 1492 avec les restes du navire échoué, le Santa María, détruit en 1493. Ce fut la première colonie espagnole établie dans le Nouveau Monde.
