Hangar 5, also known as Building 202, is a large military hangar located at the Tonopah Test Range in Nevada, United States. This facility measures 127 feet (39 meters) in width and 228 feet (69 meters) in length, making it a substantial structure for aircraft operations. The hangar has served multiple purposes throughout its operational history, initially being used for A-12 test articles and trainer aircraft.
Later, it became associated with the Red Hats program, which involved the evaluation of foreign "enemy" aircraft. The Tonopah Test Range, where this hangar is situated, has been a significant site for classified military testing and development since the Cold War era.
