A military bunker located near Narvik, Norway, situated in a strategic position overlooking the Skagerrak Straits. This site was originally constructed during World War II by German forces as part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications. The bunker complex once housed the second largest cannon in the world at the time - a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece with an impressive range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles) and weighing 337 tonnes. After the war, the facility was reportedly converted into a primitive civilian bomb shelter, with modifications including a walled-up second exit and a mounted front door. The area around Narvik contains numerous military installations from different eras, including air defense stations with their own ammunition bunkers, reflecting Norway's strategic importance during both World War II and the Cold War period.
