Bunker near Shkodër

This concrete bunker is part of Albania's extensive network of defensive structures built during the communist era. Located in Shkodër, one of Albania's major cities, it represents the country's Cold War-era military infrastructure. Albania's bunkerisation program, initiated under Enver Hoxha's leadership, resulted in the construction of hundreds of thousands of similar structures across the country between 1967 and 1986.
