By: kjfitz. Read more... During the Second World War, Cold Knap Point was altered to look like the Battery on Nell's Point, with the placement of dummy guns and fortifications. There was also a barrage balloon site built in the swimming pool grounds to give credence to it. This fooled no one, as in the 30's the Graf Zeppelin flew over Barry taking pictures of the port and the surrounding countryside.
