The Raven Rock Mountain Complex is a deep underground military installation located near Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, United States. Originally planned in 1950 as a secure communications center, it was designed to serve as a continuity of government facility during the Cold War era. The complex is situated within a 1,500-foot-high hill known as the Beard Lot, extending along the Waynesboro-Emmitsburg road.
