02/11/1999 Six-sided pillbox (probably type 22) , brick-shuttered, with an inner Y-shaped blast wall. The walls are 13ins thick and there is soil and grass on the roof (remains of camouflage?). It is fitted with Turnbull machine gun mountings at the embrasures. It is not possible to gain access to the interior of the pillbox as it is heavily overgrown with shrubs etc and is located in a hedge.
