Movik Fort is a historic German-built coastal fortification located near the Skagerrak Straits in northern Norway. Constructed during World War II, the fort once housed one of the largest cannons of the era - a Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. The site sits in a commanding position overlooking the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark, reflecting the German military's focus on controlling key maritime approaches during the occupation of Norway.
