A Type 611 bunker located on the northern pier in Hook of Holland, Netherlands, was constructed in 1943 as part of the Atlantic Wall defensive system during World War II. This German-built fortification was designed to house a field gun and served as part of the extensive coastal defense network along the Dutch coastline. The bunker is now preserved as part of the Atlantikwall-Museum, which serves as the Dutch center for knowledge and education about the Atlantic Wall and its historical significance.
