La Coupole is a massive Second World War bunker complex located near Saint-Omer in northern France. Originally codenamed Bauvorhaben 21 or Schotterwerk Nordwest by Nazi German forces, this concrete dome structure was designed as a launch facility for V2 rockets targeting London. The site represents one of the most significant remnants of the German occupation in France and serves today as a memorial and museum dedicated to the history of the Second World War and space exploration.
