WN Oude Statenzijl is a World War II German defensive bunker located near the village of Oude Statenzijl in the Netherlands. It was part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications built by Nazi Germany to defend against Allied invasion along the Dutch coast. The bunker served as a Widerstandsnest (resistance nest) and was strategically positioned to control access to the Ems estuary and protect nearby waterways.
These coastal defenses were constructed between 1942 and 1944 as part of Hitler's extensive fortification system stretching from Norway to Spain.
