A former United States government continuity facility located at the Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Originally constructed in the early 1960s, the facility was designed to house the United States Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. Known under the code name 'Project Greek Island', the bunker remained a closely guarded secret for over three decades until its existence was publicly revealed by The Washington Post in 1992.
