02/1996 Remains of a series of cube anti-tank obstacles made from concrete filled sand bags. Four remain, 3 in good condition and are seriously affected by water erosion. Blocks have been topped with concrete plinth. 2000 Four anti-tank blocks and the visible remains of at least one other.
Measuring approximately 4ft square and 3ft high, they have been constructed using concrete bags soaked in water and left to dry with a smooth concrete outer skin added. The marks of the original sacking survive. These features are under water for much of the time, however, they are illustrated on a contemporary postcard of 1943 held in the Perth Museum.
A single line of concrete anti-tank blocks, built out of concrete bags, they have been surmounted with caps.
