02/2000 Pillbox, recorded from a RAF WWII air photograph (RAF No. 1 CAM oblique, no. 11771, flown 15 April 1943). The pillbox was manned by No. 5 battalion and formed part of the Black and Blue lines of main defence of Edinburgh in the event of invasion.
