Bunker-42 is a Cold War-era nuclear shelter located in Moscow, Russia. Constructed in 1946 following the US development of atomic weapons, it was designed as a command center and survival bunker for Soviet leadership. The facility, buried 65 meters underground, features reinforced concrete walls and a sophisticated ventilation system to withstand nuclear fallout.

Originally intended for Stalin, it later served as a regional command post during the Cold War. Today, it operates as a museum offering tours that showcase its original equipment and historical significance.
