The Bejucal bunker is a former Soviet nuclear warhead storage facility located near Bejucal, Cuba. Built in 1962 during the Cuban Missile Crisis, it served as a critical storage site for Soviet nuclear warheads deployed to Cuba. According to historical accounts, nuclear warheads were dispersed from this bunker to other sites across Cuba during the height of the crisis on the night of October 26-27, 1962.
The facility represents one of the most significant Cold War military installations in the Western Hemisphere and was part of the Soviet Union's strategic deployment during one of the most dangerous confrontations of the nuclear age.
