Pillbox (type Fw3/22)

22/10/1996 Pillbox type 22 - reinforced concrete. Embrasure facing across river is extended through natural stone wall built to hide pillbox. Entrance is on river side behind stone wall. 07/02/2000 Appears to be a type 22 pillbox with the entrance parallel to the river. The entrance is protected from direct observation from the other side of the river by a stone wall. A metal door frame remains, but there is no trace of the door. There is no trace of any anti-ricochet wall.
