18/05/2000 Anti-landing trench, long since filled-in, but still evident on the ground as a linear depression. (The recorder was told by local people about this trench. It was excavated using local labour. Large numbers of portable objects were also placed on this and other open areas in the vicinity to stop enemy aircraft landing and taking off again).
