11/03/1952 The square shape of a fallen pillbox on the beach below cliffs is noted from aerial photograph. This is the result of cliff erosion. The Grid reference is to the fallen position. 27/06/2002 No sign noted during field work. 10/1940 Pillbox. Plotted from German AP. 1950 Pillbox. Shown on map of post-war coastal defence survey. This, and a nearby gun emplacement, appear to have had underground chambers with a separate entrance to the WSW.
