05/02/2003 Type 22 pillbox built on concrete base on S side of railway embankment (now disused). Brick-shuttered with end-on bricks. Concrete-faced inside. Chamfered roof edge. Six embrasures, including small port to left of doorway. Faces S. Interior access possible. 12/1940 Pillbox.

Ref. 36. 12/07/1946 Square structure plotted from air photograph. 1973 Hexagonal structure plotted from OS 1: 2500 sheet. 26/08/1996 Type 22 pillbox, with Y-shape internal blast wall. No external blast wall. Brick shuttering. Concrete roof.
