POLYGONAL CONCRETE PILLBOX WITH SMALL ARMS EMBRASURES. LISTED IN WILLS 1985. SOUTH FACING. 20/08/2000 Type 22 pillbox near Thatcham Station. Field of fire S across canal and towards Thatcham - Headley road. Pillbox has what appears to be a 2in flanged pipe sticking out of the roof (assumed to be not part of the original construction).
