Pyrenees Defense Bunker

This military bunker is part of the Línea P (P Line), a fortified defensive line built in the Pyrenees between 1944 and 1948 to protect Spanish territory from potential Allied invasion. The Spanish government, under General Franco, constructed this extensive network of fortifications following the Spanish Civil War, utilizing the natural barrier of the Pyrenees mountains. The P Line stretches approximately 500 kilometers and includes thousands of bunkers, command posts, and observation points designed to defend Spain's northern border.
