Built during the Cold War era, this once-secret facility was designed as a protected command point to safeguard Soviet leadership in the event of a nuclear attack. The bunker, also known by various designations including Facility-02 and CHZ-293, is situated near the Taganskaya Moscow Metro station and spans a significant underground area.
