Movik Fort, located near the Skagerrak Straits in southern Norway, is a former German coastal fortification built during World War II. The site once housed the second largest cannon in the world at the time β a Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers (35 miles) and weighing 337 tonnes. Originally constructed by the German military, the fort sits in a commanding position overlooking the strategic waterway between Norway and Denmark.
Today, it stands as a historic reminder of Norway's wartime military heritage and the broader German occupation of the region.
