The Vf Beobachter is a military bunker located in Normandy, France, near the village of Saint-Germain-sur-Ay. This coastal observation post was part of the German Atlantic Wall fortifications constructed during World War II. The structure served as a forward observation post for monitoring Allied naval and air movements along the French coast.
Built into the dunes, it provided a strategic vantage point for German forces defending the Normandy coastline. The bunker's location near the Cotentin Peninsula made it part of the extensive defensive network that was ultimately overcome during the D-Day landings in June 1944.
