The Greenbrier Bunker, also known as Project Greek Island, was a secret United States government continuity facility located beneath the Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. Designed to house members of Congress in the event of a nuclear attack during the Cold War, the bunker remained classified for over three decades. Decommissioned in 1992 after exposure by The Washington Post, it now serves as a historical site showcasing Cold War-era civil defense preparations.
