15/02/1999 Anti-tank cylinders. Concrete. 4ft high with rounded top. Large groups of them are located at various places near bridges where it would be possible to bridge the canal. (Colin Alexander gives various reference s to anti-tank cylinders in this area). 09/02/1988 180 x anti-tank cylinders (Ref: SU75/66).

(North East Hampshire survey record gives Grid reference s as SU 783512 to SU 788510). An array of anti tank obstacles. 56 concrete cylinders in a line W from the bridge to Tundry pond, and 6 concrete cylinders on the E side of the road. All are on the S bank (of the river). They are chamfered on top.
