Description

This research is automated and may contain errors.

This bunker is located on the Danish North Sea coast near Blåvand, part of the extensive Atlantic Wall fortifications built by Nazi Germany after occupying Denmark in 1940. The area contains approximately 6,000 surviving bunkers out of the 7,000 constructed along the coast during World War II. These concrete fortifications were part of Hitler's defensive line against potential Allied invasion from the west.

The Danish west coast, particularly around Blåvand and the Wadden Sea region, became heavily militarized during the occupation. Today, many of these structures remain as historical relics, with some converted into museums like the nearby Tirpitz Museum, which documents the Atlantic Wall and local history. The bunker stands as a testament to the military history of Denmark's occupation period and the broader European conflict of the 1940s.
