Description

Movik Fort is a former German coastal artillery battery located near the Skagerrak Strait in southern Norway. Built during World War II, the fort once housed a massive Krupp 380mm cannon, one of the largest artillery pieces of the war, with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. The site occupies a commanding position overlooking the strait between Norway and Denmark.
