1993 Square pre-fabricated pillbox, made of hollow pre-cast concrete panels bolted together with a concrete filling. Approx. 13ft square, with pre-formed embrasures in all four sides, including one beside the entrance. 19/07/1995 Square concrete pillbox. Constructed of prefabricated panels in a concrete frame with 18in hardcore infill.

Damaged panels reveal poor quality infill and a variety of steel reinforcement rods. Possible attempted demolition of N side around entrance. Embrasures face river and bridge. Small concrete shelves at each embrasure. The embrasures are precast. 03/11/1997 The pillbox has deteriorated noticeably in the last 12 months (prior to 3rd November 1997) as a result of river bank erosion.

The structure is beginning to break up. 15/01/1996 Pillbox - oblong, with 10ft x 8ft walls that are 2ft thick. Made of concrete slabs with rubble in between and framed with iron girders. (The recorder - Margaret Travis - painted the pillbox in 1986 when it still had a doorway extant).

(The recorder gives designation Worcs. 319 and HWCM 1415).
