05/1997 Spigot mortar base. Pedestal is very small, only about 2. 5ft across. 27/08/1995 Spigot mortar position on embankment of railway line. Plinth and mounting survive. No remains of pit or ammunition lockers. Guarding bridge, approach road from Hintlesham (to the SW) and South Ipswich. (DW1).
