A former German WWII coastal artillery bunker located near Narvik, Norway, overlooking the Skagerrak Straits. Originally constructed by German forces during the occupation of Norway, this bunker was part of the extensive Atlantic Wall fortifications. The site once housed a massive Krupp 380mm cannon, one of the largest artillery pieces of WWII, with a range of up to 55 kilometers.
After the war, the bunker was repurposed as a civilian bomb shelter during the Cold War period, reflecting Norway's strategic concerns regarding Soviet proximity. The structure remains a significant example of military engineering from both WWII and Cold War eras.
