WN Luise

WN Luise (Widerstandsnest Luise) is a German World War II coastal defense bunker located in France, part of the Atlantic Wall fortifications. Built by Nazi Germany during the occupation of France, this bunker was designed to defend the coastline against Allied invasion. The Atlantic Wall was a massive system of fortifications stretching along the western coast of Europe, constructed between 1942 and 1944. WN Luise would have been manned by German forces and equipped with defensive armaments to protect the strategic coastline. Today, it stands as a historical reminder of the extensive military infrastructure built during World War II in France.
