24/01/1998 Roadblock, and in this case a railblock, on two canal bridges. The responsibility for the defence here was with the South Unit of the 1st Worcestershire (Worcester) Battalion HG. Details of the block are not known but probably vertical rail type. The two bridges seems to have been reconstructed post war.
