Pyrenees Defense Line Bunker

This military bunker is part of the Línea P, also known as the Pyrenees Defense Organisation (Organización Defensiva de los Pirineos), a fortified defensive line constructed between 1944 and 1948 along the Pyrenees mountain range. Built under the regime of General Francisco Franco following the Spanish Civil War, the line was designed to prevent potential Allied invasion into Spanish territory, utilizing the natural barrier of the Pyrenees. The defensive network included thousands of reinforced concrete structures, trenches, and artillery positions strategically placed throughout the mountainous terrain.
