1993 Pillbox type known as the Surrey drum, being a type 24 on the inside, having a straight rear face with 2 rear embrasures and an entrance consistent with a type 29, but round on the sections that would make up the 5 sides of a type 24, giving the plan of a medieval drum tower. 27 of these structures were built by Mowlems between Farncombe and Chilworth Manor. This particular pillbox has embrasures set at differing heights.

01/08/1992 Circular concrete pillbox - faces SSW (160 degrees). Covers water obstacle. 7 standard rifle/LMG embrasures, 2 in flat rear wall with doorway. Flattened at rear entrance. Interior blast wall. SU/SIHG/CRS169.
