Movik Fort is a historic German coastal fortification located near Bergen, Norway, overlooking the Skagerrak Straits. Built during World War II by the occupying German forces, the fort once housed the second-largest cannon in the world—a massive Krupp 380mm gun with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. The fortification was part of the Atlantic Wall defensive system and played a strategic role in controlling maritime access between Norway and Denmark.
Today, the site stands as a testament to Norway's complex military history during the war and has become a point of interest for military heritage enthusiasts.
