Pyrenees Defense Line Bunker

This bunker is part of the Línea P, the Pyrenees Defense Organisation, a fortified defensive line built between 1944 and 1948 along the Spanish-French border. Constructed during the final years of World War II and immediately after the Spanish Civil War, the line was designed to prevent potential Allied invasion of Spanish territory. The Spanish government, under General Franco, created this extensive defensive network using the Pyrenees mountain range as a natural barrier, resulting in thousands of bunkers and fortifications across the 500 km frontier.
