The Greenbrier Bunker is a former nuclear bunker located near White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The bunker was constructed within the Greenbrier resort, a luxury hotel in the Allegheny Mountains. The facility was designed to serve as a secret relocation facility for the United States Congress in the event of a nuclear attack. It remained operational from 1962 until 1992, when its existence was revealed to the public.
