Movik Fort, located near the Skagerrak Straits in Norway, is a historic military bunker originally constructed by German forces during World War II. The fort once housed the second largest cannon in the world—a massive Krupp 380mm artillery piece with a range of up to 55 kilometers and weighing 337 tonnes. This formidable coastal battery was strategically positioned to control the maritime approaches between Norway and Denmark.
The site represents a significant example of German military engineering in occupied Norway during the war.
