30/05/1997 Standard type 22 brick-walled pillbox, with walls 19ins thick and each approx. 7ft 6ins long. Reinforced concrete roof. Interior strewn with bricks from damaged walls. Most of side walls missing, but roof intact although now balanced precariously being supported in only three places. 26/05/1998 Probably a type 22 pillbox situated on the S side of Limekiln Hill with field of fire S to beach. Brick-shuttered. with PLAN drawn on form.
