A military bunker located near Brno, Czechia, built during the Cold War era. The Czech Republic, formerly Czechoslovakia, constructed numerous fortifications and bunkers during the Interwar Period and under Communist rule. Following the Soviet invasion of 1968, the country hosted a significant Soviet military presence, with several large bunkers built for nuclear warheads.
Today, many of these once state-of-the-art fortifications lie abandoned, with some being sold to private investors by the Ministry of Defense.
