Camera and Microwave Intrusion Sensor Towers

A new tower was installed here between June 2005 and October 2006 with a remote controlled camera at the top. A second tower with a small service building was constructed next to the original tower likely in early 2020. By 10/2021 several microwave panel antennas were mounted to the tower. They are likely part of a new microwave intrusion detection system. A similar tower was built in late 2021 about a mile inside the Back Gate.
