14/04/1995 Trapezoidal variant of common Dover square-type pillbox (brick-shuttered) ; has very long embrasure in rear wall, 2 embrasures in side walls, 1 in front wall. Overhanging roof slab. On the edge of the counterscarp of the north side of the Citadel on the Western Heights (see Associated Monument records).

Trapezoid concrete and brick construction pillbox of non-standard design for this area. (Survey and discussion of type). 14/04/1995 Trapezoidal variant of common Dover type square pillbox. One very long embrasure in rear wall. Two embrasures in side walls, one in front wall. Overhanging roof slab.

Built of brick shuttered concrete, and in good condition. 27/11/1940 Pillbox (Sector 5). Cassini ref 746585 1957 Square pillbox plotted from OS 1: 2500 sheet.
