1947 Documentary source records 15 x anti-tank blocks and B/H (pillbox - see possibly UORN 489 or 7954) at 189, New North Road, Hainault. Categorised B, 1946-1948. 12/1996 Three large concrete blocks (similar to those at Fairlop Airfield). There is a gap between numbers 2 and 3 indicating the loss of a fourth block.
It would appear from the line of the curve that it was originally intended that the blocks would be part of a road block preventing travel along New North Road. No other remains of road block survive.
