Framnes Command Bunker

A military bunker located near Narvik, Norway, situated along the Durmålshaugen to Framnes walking route. The area contains multiple air defense stations, each with their own small ammunition bunkers, reflecting Norway's Cold War-era military infrastructure. Norway's strategic proximity to the USSR during the Cold War led to the construction of numerous military bunkers, some of which were later converted for civilian use after World War II.
