Anti Tank Block

1986 Located at North Gap, this 5ft x 5ft x 5ft cube was one of a line of blocks formerly sealing off the gap through the sand dunes. Now buried some 3ft in the dunes, partial excavation revealed that the block is orientated with one diagonal axis along a NE-SW line, e. g. one corner facing the direction of probable attack. It is assumed that the other blocks, now removed, were similarly orientated.
